Commissioner Hood Richardson Sets Local Record for Most Votes | Eastern North Carolina Now

In the realm of the Limited Voting election scheme, which is rammed down the collective throats of all Beaufort County Citizens and taxpayers, no county commissioner candidate has ever gotten as many votes as did The Hood in this 2016 general election.

ENCNow
The Beaufort County Commissioner race went back and forth, as reported here, in the lower echelon of who would win the last position, and now it may be finally settled.

In the realm of the Limited Voting election scheme, which is rammed down the collective throats of all Beaufort County Citizens and taxpayers, no county commissioner candidate has ever gotten as many votes as did The Hood in this 2016 general election. Conservative Hood Richardson ran a limited campaign, but still received a record 4,661 votes to be re-elected to his 6th term.

The last seat to be elected was an exchange of total vans, which was reported twice differently, but now has been finalized with Incumbent Gary Brinn returning to take his seat, and embattled newcomer Derik Davis falling after exhibiting much promise to win a seat early on.

Winning the second position was Jerry Langley and the third position was taken by Jerry Evans. See the chart below for the details:

The bold assertion, as a question, must be made: Will the most knowledgeable, most honest, hardest working, and most popular county commissioner, Hood Richardson, be elected chairman?
