Barack Obama, Campaign 2012: "We have now avoided or destroyed up to 20,000 jobs just last week." | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Job creator Keystone Pipeline is put on hold by President Barrack Obama until after his election in 2012.

President Barack Obama once again placed leadership aside to take the opportunity to do what he does best - campaign to friendly crowds. When the President finds himself in a less than friendly crowd, he does what he knows best: He becomes a "man of the (those) People," really "listens to the People," until he finds a new set of People, and then he really listens to them. Eventually, he makes everyone happy ... just a real a "community" minded politician.

    Or does he?

President Obama, who is the most stridently partisan president since Franklin Delano Roosevelt, is even having trouble within his own voting base on the future of the Keystone Pipeline. Within the special interests family of the this extra political President, a disagreement has emerged as to what is more important: high paying private sector (from elements within Canada) Union jobs, or the needs of the environmentalist industry. On November 10, 2011, the "tree huggers" won out over organized labor. No new American Jobs this year, or next, derived from the Keystone Pipeline.

The United States of America's drastic need for energy independence took a big hit as well. Considering the promises made by the Obama Administration, it was supposed to be so very much different at this point.

Nearly two years ago, I saw first hand at a NaCo (National Association of Counties) conference in Washington, DC that all Liberal based energy independence initiatives by the President's advance people were politically couched as a necessary component of his widening "National Security" platform. This platform was provided as justification for the Administration's political push of proposals from Solyndra-like projects to Carbon Credit manipulation through free markets. A really strange soup of environmentalists' ingredients that did whip up quite a Liberal frenzy at that conference. I sincerely tried to channel into that communal frenzy based on their apparent love for the issue of "Climate Change" meets "National Security," but I quickly began losing so many IQ points off my already limited basis of understanding that I almost did not find my way back to the Capital Metro, and ultimately, my temporary accommodations in Alexandria, Va. I suppose, I just could not take that transcendental leap to be in their moment of total control ... of everyone else. I would, however, like to ask these Democrats, who have ruled America throughout this Great Recession: How's all this working out for you?
The proposed Keystone Pipeline is designed to take processed material from Canada's expansive Tar Sands projects to the Gulf of Mexico region so that it can be economically refined into a combustible product: Above.

Now that moment has severely changed, probably for quite some time. Unemployment under this President Obama's economy has become a national tragedy. Collegiate children, and jobless adults, have joined the Occupy Wall Street movement to blame a shrinking "Wall Street" (in terms of the financial sector's own job coint) rather than seeking employment, or a higher working knowledge to find that gainful employment. Remarkably, the President, the Vice-president, Joe Biden, and the former Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, have initiated a purposeful solidarity with the directionless protesters to gain some unknown political advantage in the 2012 election cycle. To that apparent end of redistribution of private wealth, the President campaigns, destroys all semblance of an economic environment for job creation - at last count, including his unnecessary extension of his moratorium on deep water drilling of oil in the Gulf of Mexico, around 50,000 energy related high paying have been squandered. And this President continues to campaign that an obstructionist House of Representatives, controlled by a Republican majority, is to blame.

It is as if the President is singularly bringing George Orwell's "1984" Great Britain to a bully pulpit near you. In that classic novel, authorities from Central Planning ruled that 2 plus 2 equaled 5. It did not matter what was real, just the perception of what they ruled was real.

What I think many of us are learning in this new reality is that the generous blend of this extra-partisan president and a well engaged environmentalist industry is not creating new jobs - just killing them. Only a fool would believe anything to the contrary. This is an inarguable point.

If we are to live in President Obama's Orwellian America, where 2 plus 2 must equal 5, I'll just have to join in with Barack's new reality, and state the immutable fact that I recently heard Barack Hussein Obama proclaim, "We have now avoided or destroyed up to 20,000 jobs just last week."

Yep. Heard him say it. I just hope that the 1st Amendment will still protect satire in Barack's "Brave New World."
