Tough Week for The Amateur | Eastern North Carolina Now

    The Democrats' president, who just led them into a dark corner of dysfunction, had a tough week last week, especially when his golfing buddy Michael Jordan made demeaning remarks regarding Obama's golfing prowess. In his remarks, the former basketball great, from Wilmington, North Carolina, regarded Barry Obama as a 'hack as a golfer', which, in turn, inspired the requisite trash talk from the Amateur to put Michael back in his place as the 'co-owner of the losing Charlotte Bobcats of the NBA'.

    Maybe not so tough as an occupational situation to Amateur Obama, but most noteworthy nonetheless in real terms, is that the Democrats lost badly in the midterm elections. In this 'wave election' of real 'Hope and Change', where the Republicans won a majority of elections to wrest control of the U.S. Senate, and gained a super majority in the U.S. House, one that the Republican lawmakers have not enjoyed since the Harry Truman administration. You all remember Democrat "Give'm Hell Harry", right?

    No? Even most of us who have transformed from dark to grayish heads cannot remember "The Buck Stops Here" administration, and America has devolved greatly since those days of patriots, and hardworking folks. I do remember those days after the Harry Truman years: Most folks respected their leaders, loved their country, and they worked ... hard.

    Now, in Obama's political sphere, we have developed the 'Gimme' class: more unaccountable welfare, more free birth control, free legal representation (sometimes from the Attorney General's office if you qualify as Black), and free housing. Why work? Obama is their elected Robin Hood in a nation that once celebrated hard work. Now, we are a Democrat nation divided by ethnicity, by sex, by class, sexual orientation, preference of life or death for the unborn, and soon on the Democrat horizon, a nation divided by those that favor marijuana to become legal, and those that do not.

    If one does not completely believe in the faux science of Climate Disruption (once known as Global Warming, and then Climate Change), they are decried 'Deniers' or 'Flat Earth People' by the "Climate Enlightened". So, do we also need to add to the Democrat Division List: "Climate Enlightened" v Climate Deniers?

    It was in this acrimonious political environment that Candidate Obama was able to woo and beguile a liberal press to the point of devotion, and thus form a base of Democrats, the most simple of Independents and some pathetic Republicans, and get himself elected ... twice. In the Senate, Amateur Obama was able to use Hapless Harry Reid, soon to be former Senate Majority Leader to block legislation, and then he set himself up as the King of America ... literally. But, literally, this does not work. He now has lost Hapless Harry Reid's Senate majority and in the near future we will be able to sit back and watch as Obama's monarchical crown drops from his head. That I am sure of.

    This week, after a disastrous midterm election, The Amateur took that opportunity to bemoan that his people did not show up at the polls, and 'he was still listening to them' rather than those that did take the opportunity, nay, their hard won right to vote this election day. Furthermore, Amateur Obama stated that he would work with a Republican congress if they agree with him on some issues, and that 'if congress will not pass comprehensive immigration reform to his liking, without protecting the border, I will use an executive order to do so'.

    Regarding The Amateur's wild boast, the presumptive Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell - Ky, remarked, 'That would be like waving a red flag in front of a bull'. Speaker of the House Boehner opined, 'When you play with matches, you take the risk of burning yourself'. I do believe with a majority in both houses of congress, these Republican leaders, and all other elected Republicans, will throw caution to the wind, forget about burnishing the Republicans for mass consumption, act as patriots, and take this lawless clown down. It is long past time that this Socialist president, an amateur of remarkable status, get his due comeuppance, and thus start making America safe for real patriots.

    If the Republicans play this correctly, America will be led by those that vote, who are patriots, who work hard, know stuff, and not so much by those who take stuff undeserved, know very little real information, and only vote their lifestyle, not the continuance of their Republic. Actually, some only vote if they are hauled to the pols, or prodded to the pols to do as they are told. It does remind one of the whole plantation existence of centuries past.

    While I may appear to be an abject cynic by a growing minority, I find this electorate cattle prodding behavior abhorrent, even though these Democrat's president does not. Just as The Amateur listen's intently to those that do not vote, I will only listen to those that do bother to vote, and pray that all American's get smarter about what faces this nation. It would be a pity to lose this Republic to the ignorance of the low information class, who exist to only take from those that build, create and really care for their fellow Man.

    As obstinate as Amateur Obama may posture himself, as divisive as The Amateur may preach to his low information base, change has come and I do believe it will be driven home over the next two years until we get a president that can better handle the rigors of leading this once great land, or that we never get another president so utterly unqualified. These congressional Republicans now have that opportunity to begin the process of saving this nation for all Americans, not for those that vote for ineffective politicians, who support that lowly class of leader out of guilt because of easy success.

    Governing a Democratic Republic is not easy, and when politicians do it for self-aggrandisement, it becomes more difficult. Now is the time for patriots to step to the fore, and for Democrats to regroup from the back bench, and decide whether they wish to continue to be part of the problem, or part of the solution. There was a time in America when Democrats were patriots too. Now, with this 'Sea Change' afoot, they can join the team and aid to right this listless ship of the liberal Socialization of America, at this time where danger is around every bend in this governing river of America's destiny.

    Cause and effect governing is at hand. Each move now is magnified by our nation's desperate need to do the right thing. Amateur Obama can feign consternation over his constant golfing on America's best courses, made ready by his elected status, trash talk with his buds, or he can roll up his sleeves, and learn what it means to care deeply about your nation.

    Either way, I'm nearly certain, Amateur Obama will be schooled well over the next two years, and he can save some shred of dignity, or he will be remembered by thinking people that he was the worst president of modern times.
