Sounds interesting, Diane---thanks for spotlighting it. I have loved "Dr. Zhivago" ever since it hit the silver screen in the 60's. It uses the Russian Revolution as the backdrop of a love story between a poetic Doctor and his 2 loves. One is a proper wife with social connections "just right." The other is a caring nurse, Laura, who is married to the head of the Revolution she knew as a teenager. She also knew a "proper Russian of wealth with no conscience over getting rich off war.

I describe it as an INDICTMENT AGAINST MORAL ABSOLUTISM.

That man is a great symbol of Dick Cheney and other lovers of war and mayhem for profit. The fall of the Russian Economy over war spending is another great story that warNs America that Imperialism is dangerous and we could balance our National Budget if we get off the 50%+ spending on War we now have. . .

It seems to me the "socialist" societies in countries with little to no armies nor fancy weapons of mass destruction are offering the best tourist attractions to Americans going abroad these days. In the 80's I traveled from Austria back to the west through Germany, France, England, Amsterdam. In Amsterdam --- where marijuana is a recreational drug / a needle exchange program fights AIDS / and pornography is a part of the scene---that was where I saw the most smiles and lack of political hate-speech. They have a flower industry making more than tobacco in NC. We have a new Commercial Jetport now near Kinston that could do the same transport as they have in Amsterdam for flowers!

Maybe I should write a child story similar to the Parable of the Goose which a great philosopher wrote in the 1950's as well. Old men dream and young men have visions from the beginning of mankind . . .

Views are now at 182 and not growing fast. I figure about 200 is a good and solid read at this point. A few of mine have hit the 300's. This system is in perpetual filing via the Internet so who knows 10 years from now how many views.

Remember, also, that a Google search from a word sends you now --- not to a card catalogue at the Emory giant library --- but millions of words the magic of computer can find by frequency. Homeland Security uses this over their special words from terrorist missives.

Anyone want to venture a guess what "Abject Conservative" will find? How about Hussain Obummer?

A good Fluff and Fill article begs to be written . . .

It is a sad statement on human society in NC when we have to start carrying guns in court outside the Law Enforcement Officers present to protect public safety and PEACE.

Stan is doing his best to divert the discussion away from my article which deals with political blovation vs. actual facts~~~now let's get to the meat once more:

***How we need Statesmen of the caliber of Mr. Sam these days. I am not really sure any exist in 2015! We have puppets who posture and blow before the cameras of the Party Primaries and C-Span. We have a Senator like Ted Cruz calling the Majority Leader a LIAR. We have a Conservative Majority which can't seem to do anything but criticize and delay any measure from the Executive Branch. They are now supposed to be debating the Nuclear Arms Treaty, but it gets no press compared to Donald Trump and his big mouth.

***Even Candidates I respect for their prior service---like Jeb Bush, Chris Christie, and Mike Huckabee seem to have about as much respect as Rush Limbaugh with non-conservatives like me. Trump is gaining some percentages each week. They are losing ground in a mass of 11-1% popularity among their party constituents . . .

*****Is America proving it is crazy these days or what???? These mischievous politicians are panders for our vote --- and it speaks disrespect for our ability to reason---in my view. .

My wife retired from Physical Therapy. Her main duty was to insure all bedding was changed and clorox applied to any surface before the new patient used it. Even those with suture wounds recovering from joint surgery are not immune from these bad bacteria boys . . .It's a shame to die from knee surgery, but it happens . . .

Now if Stan will get my newest posts up (he has 2 to chose) we shall continue the pursuit of readers and good discussion. Since you and Ted joined the fray, it is far more interesting. Stan had almost run our of stamps and .25 words to try and debate me.

Both you guys don't have to throw out the flame words or call me names. We got over that phase of life in the boy's locker room at our high school. Did you ever hear of the time I made up my mind to not let others pick on me thinking a preacher's kid wouldn't fight?
