About
I am Debra Neff, but you can call me Debbie. I live in Beaufort County, just south of Chocowinity. I am currently a truck driver, so you’ll never see me. I’m never home, but roaming the country with my friend, Steve, and my dog, Frog. I am a mother of two daughters who live up North and a grandmother of five grandchildren. I was born in Pennsylvania, migrated to Western New York, where I got very sick of snow and the cold. North Carolina caught my eye and looked like the perfect place to warm up. I love Carolina’s people and its beaches. I am happy I found Beaufort County and never want to leave. Hopefully I can retire soon and be home all the time.
I have a lot of time to think about things while driving, so I try to write my thoughts down when I stop. I’d like to share them with you. They aren’t always political: I hope some will be humorous as well. I guess you could say its therapy to keep me sane. I’ve learned many things in the past few years, about people, the country, and life in general.
I am a Facebook addict, so if you like, you can be my friend. We can farm and be on the frontier together. I hope we can meet again my friends.
