Hagan's nitwit position on ObamaCare | Eastern North Carolina Now

Rush calls her a "genuine idiot." We've previously characterized Kay Hagan as a nitwit because of her stand on ObamaCare.

Rush calls her a "genuine idiot." We've previously characterized Kay Hagan as a nitwit because of her stand on ObamaCare. We did so to illustrate the fallacy of Obama "apology" for people finding themselves is a mess with their individual health care policies. Both Obama and Hagan repeatedly assured Americans that "if you like your policy you can keep it..." We now know both were lying and they knew they were lying when they said it.

What we now know is that Hagan did not know what she was doing when she cast the deciding vote on ObamaCare and she still does not know what she's doing.

But while we originally meant our "nitwit" characterization as a parody of Hagan's position, we now offer proof of the accuracy of the description of our junior Senator from North Carolina.

Hagan has been a staunch supporter of ObamaCare from day one. She parroted what Obama was saying about ObamaCare. She refused to support Sen. Ted Cruz and Mike Lee when they tried to get ObamaCare repealed. Now she is essentially trying to do just that, as it relates to the individual mandate.

Here's the deal. ObamaCare mandated "minimum" coverage to comply with the individual mandate that everyone purchase health insurance. But now Hagan is supporting a bill that would gut that provision, and annihilate one of the key provisions that ObamaCare is based upon.

So rather than stand on principle  -  that setting a minimum coverage standard is good policy  -  she would sabotage a key provision of ObamaCare in order to try to get re-elected. In other words, she was against repealing ObamaCare before she was for it. Only her way now of repealing it will insure that it would not work the way she claimed it would work when she said it would before it was passed.

Wonder if that asinine position had anything to do with whether she had actually read the bill before she voted on it?

Click here to read a more detailed explanation of Hagan's nitwit position. And as you do, ask yourself: "Do I want these people controlling my, and my family's, health care?"

And speaking of apologies, we think Senator Hagan should apologize to Sens. Cruz and Lee for voting against their efforts to fix ObamaCare. But more importantly, she should not join Sens. Cruz/Lee, and get Richard Burr to support their original position to repeal ObamaCare. Cruz was right and Hagan and Burr are wrong.

Click here to read how Rush Limbaugh characterized Hagan's position and explain why you can't have ObamaCare and allow people to keep the policies they were satisfied with. Thus, he explains why Hagan has taken a logical irreconcilable position. In other words, why she is a nitwit.
