Trump has the strength to be president and Harris does not
Like her colleague Joe Biden, Kamala Harris seems to be allergic to unscripted press conferences. Since entering the presidential race, she has gone ten days and has not had one yet. Most presidential candidates hold an unscripted press conference the very day they announce, but not Harris. If she ever does one, will it be a stage managed affair like all of Biden's press conferences? Is she afraid she will let her guard down and start cackling? Is she afraid another word salad will come out of her mouth? Is she afraid of being asked about all of her radical stands on issues as a senator and attorney general?

On the other hand, Trump went into the lions den with a convention of black journalists in Chicago today and handled himself well and with confidence. It began with an interview with a very hostile ultra left wing reporter from ABC News. Trump drew good crowd response from the other journalists several times as he responded to her questions, including once when he described ABC News as "fake news".
Kamala Harris was invited to the same event but she ducked it.

If you can't handle the American media, how can a presidential candidate be expected to handle tough situations with foreign leaders? Most of the American media tilts pretty heavily to the left, so why is Kamala afraid of them?
Of course, one of the reporters injected race into the questioning, asking Trump if he was saying Harris was only chosen vice president because she was a black woman. Trump responded that Harris has been fluid about her ethnicity, in the past telling the media that she was the "first Indian-American senator". That has sparked internet interest and her birth certificate has gone viral which lists her parents ethcity as "Indian", "Jamaican" and "Caucasian". Kamala also grew up in Montreal, Canada from elementary school through high school, so maybe at some point she will also claim to be Canadian.

For those wanting more details, check out what Judge Joe Brown has to say about Ms. Harris' political career in California as well as her time at Howard. Judge Brown is closer to the primary sources than I am, and he says it in more plain-spoken language than I did.

Well no. I referenced Ms. Harris' rather ruthless history of rising up the ranks politically by alluding to her 'friendship' with Mayor Brown. You (BB) filled in the descriptive details of that relationship.
I suspect our daughters are watching women's skulls being fractured by men pretending to be women in athletics because of woke policies. Speaking of K. Harris, she seems to be whatever she needs to be to check the right box politically. Transparent? Not so much.

What is a real challenge to American democracy is that most of the media is so much in bed with the Democrats, they will carry water for Democrat candidates without the candidate having to do anything. Look at some of them rewriting or deleting past articles that Kamala now finds unhellpful. The American media is now just cheerleaders for the Democrats and polls reflect that the public knows that.
