Former President Donald Trump is believed to have been shot at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Saturday evening during a campaign rally.
Numerous gunshots could be heard, the crowd screaming, and Trump could be seen grabbing the back of the right side of his head as U.S. Secret Service agents rushed to get him off the stage. Calls were later heard that the shooter was down. There is no word at this time on the identification of the suspect at this time.
As Trump stood back up surrounded by agents, blood could be seen above his right ear, with blood going toward his mouth. Reports say he is expected to survive the incident.
“President Trump thanks law enforcement and first responders for their quick action during this heinous act. He is fine and is being checked out at a local medical facility. More details will follow,” said Steven Cheung a Trump spokesperson in a press statement moments ago.
The Trump campaign has said he will be okay and is being checked out at a nearby medical facility.
As he was being escorted off the stage Trump repeatedly pumped his fist to the crowd.
This all comes as the Republican National Convention is scheduled to start Monday in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Secret Service posted on X that it is an active Secret Service investigation.
President Joe Biden was briefed on the incident while coming out of church in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.

Bobbie is up to his usual tricks of taking things out of context. If you go to the WHOLE quote, Robinson was specifically speaking of Nazis who killed Jews and did lots of other evil and the Japs wdho bombed Pearl Harbor in WWII and was also speaking in a military context. Bobbie is pushing an out of context distortion that is so typical of the extreme left. That remark was not anywhere close to being in the context of anyone currently, much less a political adversary. It is quite different from Biden's recent comment that "it is time to put Trump in the bullseye" which someone literally just did. Or top Biden donor Reid Hoffman saying the day before Trump was shot "I wish I had made Trump an actual martyr" which, again, someone just tried to do.

There are a lot of questions about the Secret Service in this assassination attempt. Several rallygoers say they pointed out the man with the rifle to the Secret Service minutes before the shooting. Film has emereged with a Secret Service counter-sniper team with rifles trained on the shooter before he started shooting. Why did they let him get off any shots, much less 8? Was this incompetence or something worse?
We have to remember that the Secret Service comes under rogue DHHS Secretary Mayorkas, the same guy behind the illegal immigration surge, who has previosuly played politics with Secret Service protection by denied it totally to RFK, Jr. whose father and uncle were both victims of political assaaination. |

The violent rhetoric against Trump and the demonization came from the left and the Biden Democrats and their media cheering section. Oh, and their little lemmings like Bolshevik Bob, their troll on this site, have followed along with that demonization. Biden himself has engaged in it, as well as Pelosi, and their Hollywood friends have been even worse. Biden's campaign even made a social media post about Trump being a "dictator" minutes before the assassintation attampt.
Earlerr, this same cast of characters demonized the Supreme Court, and a leftie was caught with info on a Justice's residence and a gun a short distance away after having traelled across the country to go after him. Demmonization has condequences. |
