422 acres of wild, mostly unspoiled ground, will begin to become a unique neighborhood, as it is my ambition to create a pantheon of possibilities for this mixed-use project, where the prospective community of Calf Creek Preserve of which it naturally evolve, and all that would entail.

This effort in exposition begins the noble experiment of many years of understanding this land here deep within the Chocowinity Bay /Pamlico River watershed, its essence in totality, and, ultimately, the planning of that benefit to the collective will of humankind; their interjection into what is wild and natural, and, moreover, the sustainability of a continuing better spirit of both together, in unison.

What I am offering here in this post is a smattering of images from a "birds-eye-view" of the land that I have long considered, and summarily planned to become a manifestation of what natural and real for those substantive people that understand how and why to appreciate such. Continuing on, there will be images with explanations, and Maps of Plans in tandem, so that we can begin that process of exposing this formative gemstone of these many hills strung together, where nature and natural minded people may seek a compromise of purpose to live together in secluded harmony.

Displaying the obvious focal point of a nature based community would obviously be the water resources, all of which lead, unencumbered, to the Atlantic Ocean. To that expositive end, I am revealing first to our public the connective point - the community's Waterfront Access Lot and Tract S - that this community will share where the Pamlico Estuary meets the sandy shore, and its gentle hills of that watershed, their height ranging from 28 feet to 37 feet above sea level for the entire 422 acres; wherever any dwelling has already, or yet one day to be built.

Northeastern North Carolina, so close to large metropolitan areas, abundant and varied natural geography, and a incredible flourishment of wildlife upon land, air and estuary has some locations that are also functionally close to what may be the most excellent beaches of all the central states along the eastern seaboard of these 50 states united.

Calf Creek Preserve is less than 2 hours driving time (about 107 miles) away from the Northern Outer Banks, and less than 1 1/2 hours driving time (about 70 miles) away from the Southern Outer Banks: Above.    Locational Map created by SNI Productions    Click image to expand.

Looking south at the waterfront access lot for Calf Creek Preserve, with the entire 422 acres, mostly bontatically populated by mostly towering oaks, and other dry natured hardwoods, which is the locational backbone of what could be Beaufort County's most unique community that is developable, where all surrounding timberland is not, rendering Calf Creek Preserve a veritable park: Above.    Drone images by SNI Productions    Click image to expand.

Wooded and natural, trees, mostly dry-natured hardwoods abound, where wildlif and seclusion make for a natural mix of perfection for the humankind that crave peace and solitude.

Tract S, Calf Creek Presere's 15 acres with a possible 14 dwellings, and many acres of common property with waterview, all with waterfront access, will always be this new community's premiere garden spot just a few steps from the community's sandy beach fronting the Pamlico River, additionally with a panoramic view of Chocowinity Bay.
