Calf Creek Exposition: July, 2024 Edition, Volume One | Eastern North Carolina Now
This effort in exposition begins the noble experiment of many years of understanding this land, deep within the Chocowinity Bay /Pamlico River watershed, its essence in totality, and, ultimately, the planning of that benefit to the collective will of humankind.
Under the cover of Covid, and now in the shadow of the infamous Election Irregularities of that fated 2020 presidential election, with current emerging alleged election fraud in Nevada and Pennsylvania inconveniently slipping into the public discourse, there is proved a colluded ongoing Election Interference in the nomination of the Republican candidate, the likes of which has never occurred in our Constitutional Republic's history, albeit, the question remains: Do you support the plain-sight Election Interference of the Democratic Socialist party, employing its minions in their Propagandistic Media, and their Two Tiered Justice System?
98.13% No, I do not support Election Interference; I am a patriot unto our Constitution.
0.93% Yes, I do support Election Interference; the alternative, Donald Trump, to this mentally diminished president is far worse.
422 acres of wild, mostly unspoiled ground, will begin to become a unique neighborhood, as it is my ambition to create a pantheon of possibilities for this mixed-use project, where the prospective community of Calf Creek may naturally evolve into Calf Creek Preserve, and all that would entail.
This effort in exposition begins the noble experiment of many years of understanding this land here deep within the Chocowinity Bay /Pamlico River watershed, its essence in totality, and, ultimately, the planning of that benefit to the collective will of humankind; their interjection into what is wild and natural, and, moreover, the sustainability of a continuing better spirit of both together, in unison.
For three decades now, I have dwelled on top of a hill in Mac'swood, with my surrounding grounds encompassing four lots, comprising 2.22 acres, stretched between two roads - Beechtree and Camelia - with both the high ground of fine silty, and some sandy (clay) loam, and within the well-drained-low ground, nearly all an ancient pond, full of the muck of a dark organic soil sitting upon a base of Goldsboro silty loam. Sounds like the complicated knowledge of what is "organically" real? Well, this is how I approach ground; from high to low, and all that lies beneath the top layer of the most essential top soil that sustains us all ... And yes, I am a master gardener by practice.

What I am offering here in this post is a smattering of images from a "birds-eye-view" of the land that I have long considered, and summarily planned to become a substantive of what natural and real for those substantive people that understand how and why to appreciate such. Continuing on, there will be images with explanations, and Maps of Plans in tandem, so that we can begin that process of exposing this formative gemstone of many hills strung together, where nature and natural minded people may seek a compromise of purpose to live together in secluded harmony.
Displaying the obvious focal point of a nature based community would obviously be the water resources, all of which lead, unencumbered, to the Atlantic Ocean. To that expositive end, I am revealing first to our public the connective point - the community's Waterfront Access Lot and Tract S - that this community will share where the Pamlico Estuary meets the sandy shore, and its gentle hills of that watershed, their height ranging from 28 feet to 37 feet above sea level for the entire 422 acres; wherever any dwelling has already, or yet one day to be built.
Looking south at the waterfront access lot for Calf Creek, with the entire 422 acres, mostly bontatically populated by mostly towering oaks, and other dry natured hardwoods, which is the locational backbone of what could be Beaufort County's most unique community that is developable, where all surrounding timberland is not, rendering Calf Creek a veritable park: Above.
