Benghazi Cover-up: 05/13/13 - Candidate Obama Lies Again | Eastern North Carolina Now

    In a White House press conference, Great Britain's Prime Minister John Cameron, Candidate Obama was confused regarding the timeline of at what point his administration acknowledged that the Benghazi attack was a terrorist attack. Today in this press conference, Candidate Obama was either a bit hazy in his estimation of what actually occurred in the Benghazi aftermath or just outright lied ... again.

    So, in this continuing context, since the ardent Liberal considers the Candidate to be one of the most brilliant presidents to occupy the Oval Office in decades, we, as thinking folks, are therefore forced to take the alternate impression, and will assume that he is lying once again.

    When answering the one question that he took on the Benghazi tragedy and resultant cover-up, he called the congressional investigation a politically motivated "sideshow," a "political circus" ostensibly to rally his devotees, with the righteously-liberal laced Kool-aide fresh on their lips. What he failed to mention was that in the shadow of the Democrat National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina, where one starry-eyed liberal advocate after another decried that, "Al Qaeda is on the run and Osama bin Laden is dead," the Candidate's one foreign policy success was actually no success at all ... far from it.

    From the Fort Hood terrorist attack, labeled by the Candidate's administration as "workplace violence," to the Candidate's hands-off policy in the Middle East, especially during the so-called "Arab Spring," ironically coined by his administration, all juxtaposed against Candidate Obama's 2008 Middle East "Apology Tour," the Candidate refuses to take terrorism seriously, even refuses to use of the terrorist descriptor in all narratives regarding terrorism.

    Today, Monday, May 13, 2013, while answering that one question on the Benghazi Cover-up, Candidate Obama, in reference to that infamous Rose Garden Speech with Hillary "WHAT DIFFERENCE DOES IT MAKE" Clinton by his side, said that he stated: "The day after it happened, I acknowledged that this was an act of terrorism. And what I pledged to the American people was that we would find out what happened, we would make sure that it did not happen again, and we would make sure that we held accountable those who had perpetrated this terrible crime."

    What Candidate Obama did say that fateful day in the White House Rose Garden:

    "As Americans, let us never, ever forget that our freedom is only sustained because there are people who are willing to fight for it, to stand up for it, and in some cases, lay down their lives for it. Our country is only as strong as the character of our people and the service of those both civilian and military who represent us around the globe.

    No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for. Today we mourn four more Americans who represent the very best of the United States of America. We will not waver in our commitment to see that justice is done for this terrible act. And make no mistake, justice will be done."

    Now, this general comment about acts of terror may well work for some devoted followers as an admission of the unspeakable word, who wish to believe the best about the Candidate, and understanding their need to believe, I will, therefore, offer greater evidence that Candidate Obama would rather coddle, and apologize to our enemies, and the brethren of our enemies rather than become completely engaged in the War on Terror, even to the point of refraining from directly name-calling terrorists as terrorists.

    In an interview with CBS' 60 Minutes on September 12, Reporter Steve Kroft asked Candidate Obama if the incident was a terrorist attack to which the candidate answered:

    "Well, it's too early to know exactly how this came about, what group was involved, but obviously it was an attack on Americans. And we are going to be working with the Libyan government to make sure that we bring these folks to justice, one way or the other."

    Just a few days later on September 25, 2012, Candidate stated on ABC's "The View" to Joy Behar's question, "I heard Hillary Clinton say it was an act of terrorism. Is it? What do you say?"

    The Candidate: "We're still doing an investigation. There's no doubt that (with) the kind of weapons that were used, the ongoing assault, that it wasn't just a mob action. We don't have all the information yet, so we're still gathering it. But what's clear is that around the world, there's still a lot of threats out there."

    No ringing endorsement here for the perpetrators being terrorists bent on destroying America by the killing of innocents. Let's face it: America's grand "pretend president," Candidate Barack Hussein Obama, still believes that Fort Hood was workplace violence, so why would anyone believe that the "great pretender" has any clue as to what it takes to keep us safe from evil. I suppose he just does not care. I just have to wonder: Why?

    He is supposed to be the president; a real American president, capable of wielding the great power of his office and the United States, a great power built, and built upon, by real presidents, far greater than this "Pretend President" Barack Obama.

    If the truth is finally uncovered, over the dead journalistic bodies of the "lapdog mainstream media," and this president can be destroyed for what he is and isn't, then a path will be paved, if only for a short time, where we can re-secure America's prominent position, once again, by and through the comparative wisdom and unwavering strength of real leadership from men and women of substance.
