NC House Speaker Tim Moore sex scandal goes international | Eastern North Carolina Now

picked up by British media

ENCNow

The sex and abuse of power scandal swirling around NC House Speaker Tim Moore has gone international, having now been picked up by the UK's largest circulation daily newspaper, the Daily Mail of London.  Moore has been sued by an aggrieved husband for alienation of affection and criminal conversation over Moore's adultery with his wife, a state employee.  During the four year affair, Moore's state employee mistress received a series of highly unusual pay raises of 48% of the salary she made when she began the affair.  Moore is also alleged to have offered to use his power as Speaker to do favors for the plaintiff to avoid a lawsuit and to have sent a co-defendant to install cameras to monitor the plaintiff's home.

British newspapers may tell the full story on stinky Speaker Moore, but the Raleigh media is NOT. They are trying to prop him up. Since WRAL and the News and Observer are both far to the left, one would on the surface not expect that. However, these partisan leftists are thinking longer term. They are salivating at the political damage that Timmy can do to the GOP if he is still in power during the 2024 election. It is why the left and the Democrats (but I repeat myself) really do not want him to go, but any thinking Republican SHOULD. Add to that all the issues where Timmy has delivered Republican majorities for leftwing policy objectives, most recently with the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. dailyhaymaker.com
