Another threatening letter accompanied by suspicious white powder created a fresh security scare for Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, the prosecutor whose case against former President Donald Trump led to a historic indictment.

Sources told ABC News this letter was discovered shortly after 3 p.m. on Wednesday in the basement mailroom at 80 Centre Street in New York City.

The letter, tucked in an envelope addressed to Bragg, used an expletive to describe the district attorney's weight, sources told NBC News. These sources also said the envelope contained a photo of Trump and Bragg, as well as white powder. Authorities determined the substance to be non-hazardous.

"We thank our partners at the NYPD Emergency Service Unit and the NYC Department of Environmental Protection for their quick response," said a spokesperson for Bragg's office.

This is the second threatening letter with white powder sent to Bragg in the past month. A couple weeks ago, The New York Times reported a missive sent to Bragg contained a message that said: "ALVIN: I AM GOING TO KILL YOU," followed by 13 exclamation points. The substance in that instance was also determined to not be dangerous.

Bragg's investigation into Trump over alleged hush money payments during the 2016 election cycle led to a grand jury returning an indictment late last month. Trump became the former U.S. president to face criminal charges.

Trump traveled to Manhattan last week and pleaded not guilty to 34 felony counts of falsifying business records. Months into another campaign for the presidency, Trump is facing legal jeopardy from multiple investigations that he claims are being run by politically motivated prosecutors.

In a lawsuit Bragg's lawyers filed this week to block subpoenas from House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) aimed at the Trump probe, the complaint said Bragg has received multiple death threats.

"In one instance, he received a package containing suspicious white powder with a note making a specific death threat against him," the lawsuit said. "Since Mr. Trump falsely predicted he would be arrested on March 18, 2023, in fact, the District Attorney's Office has received more than 1,000 calls and emails from Mr. Trump's supporters, many of which are threatening and racially charged. But rather than denounce efforts to vilify and denigrate the District Attorney and the grand jury process, House Republicans are participating in those efforts."

Bragg's suit also said Trump "in particular has threatened New York officials with violent and racist vitriol." As example, the suit mentions Trump calling Bragg, who is black, a "SOROS BACKED ANIMAL," and a Truth Social post appearing to show Trump "threateningly" wielding a baseball bat next to an image of Bragg, among other things.

Considering what many of the most revered legal experts of this age consider a political persecution by the infamous and ignoble New York District Attorney Alvan Bragg: Should the historic, unprecedented indictment of 45th President Donald Trump be considered as a benefit, or a liability to the sustainability of OUR Constitutional Republic?
Liability, our nation is in peril, as we are losing our "Rule of Law" integrity.
Benefit, losing our "Rule of Law" integrity is secondary to destroying Donald Trump.
I mostly worry about losing my Tik Tok.
