Car Beak-ins in Slatestone Area Solved | Eastern North Carolina Now

On February 1, 2013, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of vehicle break-ins in the area of Chesterfield Drive, Homeplace Road, CBH Lodge Road, and Cherry Road in Washington, NC.

    On February 1, 2013, the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office received multiple reports of vehicle break-ins in the area of Chesterfield Drive, Homeplace Road, CBH Lodge Road, and Cherry Road in Washington, NC. Deputies responded to the scene and learned the suspects entered into unlocked vehicles and removed assorted items including sunglasses, loose change, computer tablets, ipods, and binoculars.

    During the investigation, Investigators located items matching the description of the items stolen at “Trade It” in Greenville NC. After seizing the items, Investigators obtained and executed a search warrant at a suspect’s residence on Old Bath Highway in Washington. As a result, Investigator Scott Williams applied for and obtained warrants charging Christian Gage Warner, age 17, of Cherry Road in Washington and Steven Tyler Greene, age 18, of Old Bath Highway in Washington with eleven (11) counts of Breaking and Entering of a Motor Vehicle and ten (10) counts of Misdemeanor Larceny. On February 7, 2013, Warner turned himself in at the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office. Warner was taken before Magistrate Jasper Mills and released on a $25,000.00 unsecured bond.

    On February 18, 2013, Greene turned himself in at the Beaufort County Magistrate’s Office. Greene was taken before Magistrate Jasper Mills and released on a $5,000.00 unsecured bond. The stolen property located at “Trade It” was returned to the owners.

On 03/11/2023, Patrol Deputies assigned to the Aurora area served arrest warrants on Anthony Bragg, 32 years of age, of 1824 Bay City Road in Aurora.
On 02/7/2023, Investigators with the Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office Drug Unit arrested Shaquel Collins, 29 years of age, of 113 Days Inn in Washington.
