So just what should we expect from the 118th Congress? | Eastern North Carolina Now

After all is said and done, there will be more said than done.

ENCNow

Congress is back in session.  The Dems control the Senate and White House.  The Repubs control the House.  After all is said and done, there will be more said than done.  Bank on it.  Our condolences to those who hoped the House will hold the criminals accountable.  Not going to happen.  What we will get is investigative hearings that will produce nothing.  And if they were to, the Senate will kill it.  If the Senate does anything significant, the House will kill it and if, by some chance, something gets done, Biden will likely veto it.  It is all a kabuki dance.

Some will say that all this circus is to raise money.  While that’s certainly true, it is about more.  Notwithstanding the ego satiation of the players, the circus is designed to control the narrative, vis-à-vis the Elite Media.

Nonetheless, one of our favorite writers, Sundance at the Conservative Treehouse, has just published a superb analysis of the House Oversight Committee.

Click here to read that commentary and then break out the pop corn and relax.  Or better yet, take a grandkid fishing.
