The article may say that but when you watch the actual live coverage of the event, which I did at the time, one sees about 50+ law enforcement officers on the scene. No school has that many officers or their own SWAT team. Many agencies were involved and clearly failed those kids. Everyone of them should be ashamed for waiting hours to take the shooter out.

Oh..I see, reality it's too much for the publisher of the comments. On the one hand I appreciate you post my comments , on the other I realize you could never do it honestly. BTW, welcome to planet earth. Not sure where you live but on this planet we all watched 50+ police officers pick their nose while the shooter killed those kids because they were afraid to go in the classroom.

Look at the video and commentary. It clearly says "Uvalde SCHOOL police cheif" not "Uvalde town police chief". I have read that quite a few other places, but it is plain as day in this article itself.

Anything to back that statement up.? From the endless news coverage it's pretty clear this was essentially the local police force. Keystone cops for sure, but typical of what you get. Personally, unless someone is getting killed, I would never call them. You just dont know what you're going to get.

This was one of those rent-a-cop private police forces hired by the school board, like we have now in the Beaufort County schools.
