Manchin, Biden want to unleash IRS audits on Americans | Eastern North Carolina Now

Increasing taxes during a recession and spending during runaway inflation?  That is what Manchin and Biden's Orwellian named "anti-inflation" bill does.  What could go wrong?

Damaging the economy and fueling more inflation is bad enough for the average American, but it gets worse.  The bill would hire a lot more IRS auditors to terrorize American taxpayers.  Having an IRS auditor come to an American's door is about as welcome as a Gestapo agent in the 1930s coming to a German's door or a KGB operative coming to a Russian's door.  Our tax code is so complex that finding an honest error or a difficult interpretation is not difficult.

And considering the politization of the IRS beginning with Obama, who are they likely to target for audits?  Their political adversaries, of course.

Manchin needs to be very high on the target list when he comes up for election again.
