Bill Cook Calls Out for Volunteers | Eastern North Carolina Now

As of today we have won the North Carolina Senate District 1seat. You and I have worked hard to get here.

Publisher's note: NC Senator-elect Bill Cook will need volunteers for any recount that may be called by the defeated Stan White for NC Senate 1. There are 80 votes separating the two, and Bill will not say what I will say now: Zealous Democrats believe that they are "entitled," in eastern North Carolina, at the ballot box - before and after a certified election.

If Bill Cook is to prevail in a second recount, they must be watched.

Press Release:

As of today we have won the North Carolina Senate District 1seat. You and I have worked hard to get here. I want to thank all the folks who have supported me in this quest. I am blessed to have such great folks helping in this struggle. However, the contest is most likely not over yet. The vote count shows only a 32 vote margin for me and that most likely means that my opponent will file for a recount. I think he has to do that on Monday afternoon or I will be declared the winner.

So I have to ask for your help once more. I will need a lot of folks at each County Board of Election site were a recount is being conducted. As you know District 1 includes eight counties - Beaufort, Hyde, Dare, Currituck, Perquimans, Pasquotank, Camden and Gates. These volunteers will be there to insure a legal and fair vote count. I have asked the Senate Caucus to provide folks who are knowledgeable in vote counting fraud. These folks can educate those of us who don't know what to look for as the ballots are counted. Some legal advice will also be provided by the Caucus. I don't know when or where the counting will be conducted but my guess is some time next week and probably in all 8 counties. I believe we must have adequate coverage at the counting places or the Democrats will steal the election. Please help once more.

Please respond to this email and let me know if you can help and where you want to be assigned. I ask all the county Republican Party Chairmen to poll their members for volunteers. I am told that this counting could require a hundred or more folks.

I will let you know more as I know more. God bless you.
