Press Release:

Washington, D.C.     While Democrats are touting their late entry into Hispanic outreach, it's clear that Joe Biden and the Democrats can't seem to figure out why Hispanic voters are running away from them as fast as possible. It's simple - Hispanic voters do not support the Democrats' radical agenda. Just take a look at the NRSC's Hispanic Battleground Survey.

    Politico writes:

The large - and unusually early - expenditures are a sign that Democrats are beginning to take seriously the gains Republicans are making among Latino voters.

But the early Democratic spending on Spanish-language ads in the two races represents a marked shift after years of complaints from Latino operatives that the party waits until the last minute to spend on Latino outreach.

The reality is that the Democrats are late to the game. Their spending is a reaction to early investment by the NRSC in Hispanic outreach that is contributing to Hispanic voters flocking to the Republican Party is historic numbers.

Even NBC News shows the real reason they are spending money this early:

Still, the poll bears numerous warning signs for Democrats. By a double-digit margin, more Hispanic Democrats are considering leaving their party compared to Hispanic Republicans. Such potential party-switchers are mainly becoming independents or third-party voters - and they also tend to line up more with Republicans on some issues.

Overall, Hispanic voters are more likely than not to think the country is moving in the wrong direction, by a margin of 5 percentage points, according to the poll. Also by a margin of 5 percentage points, a majority agreed with the statement "The Democratic Party has been kidnapped by progressives." And by a margin of 7 percentage points, most opposed vaccination mandates. On each of these, independents aligned more with Republicans than Democrats.

It could not be clearer why Hispanic voters are moving away from Democrats in droves. They support the Republican agenda of smaller government, capitalism, and secure borders. And they reject the Democrats' agenda of big government, socialism, and open borders. If Joe Biden and the Democrats want to know why Hispanic voters are leaving their party, they should look in the mirror.

Statement from NRSC Hispanic Press Secretary, Juan Arias: "The real reason Democrats are spending money this early to communicate to Hispanic voters is because they are scared. For years, they've taken the Hispanic vote for granted. With the Democrat Party shifting further to the left, the result is Hispanic voters becoming Republicans. It's real; it's happening everywhere in the country; and it's happening faster than people realize. More money won't help. Hispanics are leaving the Democrat Party because of their terrible agenda that's hurting the entire country."
