As I saw Sandra Fluke hob-nobbing around the Anointed One and his henchmen at the Democrat Convention (and since), I couldn't help but think about Monica L. and all that connotes.

One question does come to mind. If she really needs (and spends) $3000 per year for contraceptives, how does she ever find time enough to hang out around "the campaign"? Likewise, how did she ever find time to attend classes at the $40K per year Georgetown University?? (We can only wonder how much of the tuition the long suffering taxpayers paid for through grants or whatever. She clearly seems predisposed to living on other folks' money.)

Of course the next question is, "Why would the Dems bother with Sandra as long as their ICE Chief of Staff was still on board??" Of course she's gone now, so ....

We are told that this past weekend, she (Sandra) was scheduled to be the head liner at a rally for the Anointed One and only ten (count 'em, ten) folks showed up. Did anyone happen to notice where Bill Clinton was last weekend?? Hmmm...

And now we are treated to an Obama ad which likens voting for the Anointed One to losing one's virginity (and in the case of the ad, enjoying it). A lot of folks are finding the ad tasteless, inappropriate, and offensive, claiming that sex and contraception have no place in a Presidential election contest. I would have to agree. Of course those of us who have been around a while already know that sex is very frequently involved in politics, but not quite so overtly as this year.

As an aside, those of us who are not so keen on being forced to pay for women's contraceptives (or Viagra and the like for that matter) have been labeled as misogynists. Not paying for contraceptives has been morphed into being anti-woman. There goes the "women's vote". Fortunately for Gov. Romney, a lot of women have seen through the ruse. After seeing and hearing Romney, their perception has begun to change. But I digress...

Back to sex and the Obama machine.

After being exposed to a seemingly endless number of the Anointed One's ads telling me why I should vote for him (thank God for the "mute" button on my remote), it was almost refreshing to see the "virginity" ad. It struck me as being one of the more honest ads promulgated in support of his campaign.

It seems very clear to me that anyone who voted for the Anointed One in the last election surely did lose their virginity (figuratively and in a purely political sense). Many of those who voted for Obama in 2008 never came to realize what had happened to them - and still don't know (or maybe care). They will vote for him again this time. A lot of the rest didn't realize at the time what happened to them but have since figured it out. A goodly number of those who did realize what happened to them aren't so happy about it. It is not difficult to conjecture that a lot of these folks would have been the so called "undecideds", many of whom reportedly seem to be moving toward Romney.

In any case, regardless how distasteful and vulgar the "virginity" ad is, it is refreshing for the Obama campaign to be speaking something closer to the truth than they have so far in this election season. Vote for Obama and get screwed.
