On Sunday, the Freedom Convoy 2022 held its first press conference with organizers Tamara Lich, Benjamin Dichter, and Chris Barber, and when asked if anyone from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's staff had reached out, Dichter replied bluntly, "Why would they? The entire world is fixated on this." Dichter also called Trudeau a "little snowflake" for disappearing from the public while the convoy of trucks holds their rallies in Ottawa, Canada's capital.

The trio was asked, "Has anybody from Justin Trudeau's staff reached to talk to anybody at all? Or is he still hiding away?"

"What are you talking about, it's the weekend," Dichter quipped. "Isn't he in Tofino or something? I don't understand something -"

Reporter: "He's self-quarantining for his negative test but he was exposed to Covid."

"Well, he's self-quarantining for a negative test and then 24 hours later he was going on a trip with his family," Dichter said. "Pick one. Which one is it?"

Lich interjected, "They whisked him away from his security is what I was told."

    "Little snowflake," Dichter declared.

Reporter: "So no one at all has reached out for any kind of statement."

"Why would they? The entire world is fixated on this," Dichter pointed out.

Barber mocked Trudeau, saying, "We're just a little minority fringe group."

Trudeau had stated, "The small fringe minority of people who are on their way to Ottawa, who are holding unacceptable views that they are expressing, do not represent the views of Canadians."

The reporter pointed out that the CBC seemingly attempted to minimize the event: "The CBC said about 100 trucks arrived in Ottawa."

Dichter fired back, "I think it's a race to the bottom to see whose reputation is gonna be destroyed first: politicians like Justin Trudeau in the Liberal Party or the mainstream media. It's a tight race."

The reporter asked, "Do you see this making a difference? Ideally, yes. The mandates will be dropped."

Barber answered succinctly, "It already has."

On Saturday, The Week published an article titled, "Trudeau flees as trucker convoy enters Ottawa" in which it stated:

As thousands of protesters entered Ottawa, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and his family were moved from their home to an undisclosed location somewhere in the city on Saturday afternoon due to security concerns, CBC reports.

The CBC had reported, "Amid security concerns, Trudeau and his family have been moved from their home to an undisclosed location in the nation's capital, sources said."

On January 27, CTV News reported, "Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says he will be isolating for five days, after being exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. Trudeau said in a tweet Thursday morning that he learned about the exposure Wednesday night. He has taken a rapid test and was negative and said he is feeling fine and will be working from home, following guidance from Ottawa Public Health."
