Whoopi Says She’s ‘Pro-Life,’ Makes Stunning Admission About Abortion. And Then Promotes It. | Eastern North Carolina Now

    "The View" co-host Whoopi Goldberg said this week that she is "pro-life" and admitted that women who get abortions don't necessarily want to get one but feel like they have no other choice.

    Then the liberal host went on to advocate for a woman's "right" to have an abortion, killing the innocent unborn.

    "They shouldn't have introduced it in the first place," Goldberg said, speaking of pro-life legislation in Texas, The Daily Caller reported. "But now they've opened up the door to it, and it's just, you watch and see how many folks come running through, because the bottom line is, really, has always been, I, too, am pro-life."

    "No one that I know who has had an abortion went willingly or happily," she continued. "They went because they had to go, because they didn't have a choice. Now, I don't want anyone to have one who doesn't want it."

    Goldberg then switched gears, suggesting that those who are pro-life should just ignore the millions of babies who are killed in abortion.

    "There's no mandate saying you must have an abortion," she echoed a flimsy and popular pro-abortion talking point. "The mandate, though, says, 'well, you can't have one if you need it and it's not even that I'm going to allow you to speak to your doctor. If your life is on the line, I don't care. If you're someone who has had to deal with incest, I don't care. If you've been raped, it doesn't matter.'"

    "And this is why we need to have a debate where we can actually talk about when abortion is used, and how," chimed in CNN contributor Amanda Carpenter. "And maybe what limits we could have on it rather than deputizing people to hunt down doctors and women."

    As noted by The Daily Wire's Ben Johnson, more Americans support Texas' pro-life legislation than oppose it, contrary to the outraged women at "The View":

    In reality, more Americans support the Texas heartbeat law than oppose it. A plurality, 46% of likely voters, support the law while 43% oppose it, according to a Rasmussen poll released [in September]. Similarly, 56% of likely voters - including one-third of Democrats - favored Missouri's heartbeat bill in a July poll from Saint Louis University and YouGov. That poll found that women were more likely to support the heartbeat bill than men.

    Goldberg earlier this month lashed out over Supreme Court oral arguments in notable abortion case, Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization, The Daily Wire reported:

    Goldberg criticized several of the arguments made but the justices, but reserved the bulk of her ire for Justice Samuel Alito. Alito argued that a fetus presumably had the same interest both prior to and after the point of viability - namely, to stay alive.

    "Do any of you men have any eggs or the possibility of carrying a fetus? How dare you talk about what a fetus wants! You have no idea," she scolded during [the] broadcast.
