Salvation Army attempt at spin on CRT misfires | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Salvation Army's attempt at damage control over their "woke" and racist pronouncements that white people needed to apologize for being white,  and it has backfired.  They have been caught lying or as they may phrase it "bearing false witness".  It is really sad to see what had been a very respectable and honest charity caught up in the far left politics they now engage in.

It turns out that the Salvation Army's lurch to the left goes back to April when they created an internal "International Social Justice Commission".  It is that commission that spawned the policies which have led to disgust at the SA, and that commission has not been abolished.  It still exists, and that in itself speaks volumes about the politics of the SA.  "Social justice" is code among the far left for socialism.  As a religiously based organization, the SA has gone beyond mere Social Gospel and moved to outright Liberation Theology.

It used to be that the Salvation Army was one of those charities I felt comfortable giving money to, but since all this came out, not anymore.
