    Publisher's Note: This post was published in early novermber of 2020, and what I wrote as truth bore out to be true, and yes, after short lapses of abstinence, I still play the guitar, and a good bit better than "5 and 3/4 years" ago.

    This may sound weird to folks, but on election nights, whether I am running for the county commission, or I am deeply engrossed in watching the results of such an important race, where the longevity of our Constitutional Republic is at stake, I have started a new tradition - I play my guitar with an abandon with the TV talking - hardening my fingertips nicely.

    My guitar is my one hobby, which I started about 4 years ago (now 6 years); my analyzation of politics, the history of government, and my knowledge of that application is not a hobby. It is another job that I do, and one that I am very serious about.

    To that end, I cannot sleep when our Representative Republic is clearly on a knife's edge. If President Trump loses to the Democratic Socialist party, in constant collaboration with the Democratic Socialist Media, the Republic will take a big kick in the groin, and then another kick, and then another ... If the Democratic Socialist Party, in collusion with the Democratic Socialist Media, wins the presidency and takes control of the US Senate, then it will be a knife in our nation's back, one that could kill our Republic, or push us solidly down a path we may not find our not-so-inevitable return.

    If the Republicans lose the presidency and hold the US Senate, then the senate could act as a firewall against the rabid, corrupt, and non patriotic Democratic Socialist Party /Democratic Socialist Media. In that event, the Republic may move beyond life support.

    So, until I know all there is to know tonight, I shall allow the TV to continue to talk, and I shall play my guitar, and maybe sing softly.

    Any requests? "Anybody want to hear a song?" ... He say with his upper lip into a slight Elvis snarl.

God bless you Bobby Tony. I wish I could say that about the pot, which pretty much explains why I "would never take advice from a pothead" either.

Here's one you should learn from my favorite Liberal singer. I can overlook just about anything Willie says because, well because... who wants to take advice from a Pot Head. He is however a very good entertainer. (for the record I've never had a joint in my life. 2nd hand high as close as I ever got)
