With No Lockdown, Sweden Now Has Lowest COVID Death Rate in Europe | Eastern North Carolina Now

As more proof that coronavirus lockdowns do not work, Sweden, which pushed herd immunity instead of lockdowns, and essentially did not shut down any of their economy, now has the lowest coronavirus death rate in Europe.

    As more proof that coronavirus lockdowns do not work, Sweden, which pushed herd immunity instead of lockdowns, and essentially did not shut down any of their economy, now has the lowest coronavirus death rate in Europe. At the same time, Sweden also now has the best performing economy in Europe.

    Sweden's scientists all along said that lockdowns hurt the development of herd immunity in the population and they did lots of harm in other ways, to public health as well as economically. That has also been shown to be correct.

    Overall, comparing Sweden to a European country with a similar size population but used strict lockdowns, Belgium, Sweden had HALF the number of coronavirus deaths of Belgium over the course of the pandemic.

    Governor Cooper has been very wrong in his response and needs to be punished for it by the voters of the state in November.
