National Honor Society Induction | Eastern North Carolina Now

   Washington High School’s National Honor Society Induction was held Monday, May 7 in an evening candlelight ceremony. Forty-eight new members were inducted based on scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

   The new inductees are: Ashley Victoria Adams, Erica Leigh Alligood, David Alvarez, Gerardo Ramses Alvarez Gallegos, Alexandria Caroline Amaxopulos, Lacie Miranda Anglim, Jody Dale Arnold, William Bryan Blake, Emily Michelle Bohn, Gavin Leander Call, John Frederick Campbell, Ryan Vance Cowell, Dylan Andrew Cutler, Kelly Elizabeth Dahlman, Michaela Elizabeth Daniels, Tanisa Javiana Daniels, Bryan Jeffrey Darkow, Allison Shay Donadio, Jacob Ryan Elks, Rian Christopher Freeman, Lauren Victoria Gargaro, Noelle Marie Gargaro, David Joseph Giordano, London Echayne Godley, Thomas Riley Hall, Joseph Luke Harris, Jordan Nichole Horne, Ashley Lauren Huber, Danielle Elizabeth Hyatt, Casey Emily King, Rebekah Linzy Langston, Gerardo Lopez Machado, Wendell Roe Main III, James Henderson Martin, Montgomery Todd McClure, Kenneth Gray Peedin III, Emily Winfield Pfeiffer, William Carter Phelps, John Croom Sueiro Rodman, Katelyn Michelle Rowe, Kirsten Alyssa Shackelford, Camilla Dawn Smith, Jalexys Aaryanne-Lorice Smith, Lanie Jo Smith, Robin Marie Thompson, Daniel Gustavo Vasquez, Dylan Glenn Willoughby, and Samantha Leighann Woolard.

    The following students were named National Honor Society Marshals for the 2012-2013 school year: – Chief Marshal: Ryan Vance Cowell; James Henderson Martin, Addie May Van Salisbury, Dylan Andrew Cutler, Thomas Riley Hall, Bryan Jeffrey Darkow, Emily Michelle Bohn, John Frederick Campbell, Rebekah Linzy Langston, Kenneth Gray Peedin III, Lacie Miranda Anglim, and Emily Winfield Pfeiffer.

   Lois Omonde and Darcy Binford provided music for the ceremony. Jennifer Beach is the National Honor Society Advisor.
