Governor's Office to Host Conference Call for Local Government on Recent COVID-19 Executive Action
Yesterday, Governor Cooper issued an executive order
declaring a state of emergency in response to the growing outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) in North Carolina. The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCDHHS) also shared several statewide recommendations
to slow the spread of COVID-19 and reduce the number of people infected. Tomorrow, Governor Cooper's office will host a free conference call to update elected and appointed local government officials on COVID-19.

NCACC Takes Steps to Support State COVID-19 Mitigation Recommendations
NCACC recognizes that each of us plays an important role in reducing the spread of COVID-19. In light of the emerging cluster of cases in the Triangle area, NCACC is taking steps to support NCDHHS mitigation recommendations.
