Wake County Republican Party to Hold Annual Convention March 9th

    RALEIGH     The Wake County Republican Party will be holding its annual convention on Monday, March 9th, 2020 from 5:30pm to 9:30pm at the McKimmon Center (1101 Gorman St in Raleigh) near the NCSU Campus. A VIP Suite will be open from 5:30pm to 6:30pm. The convention gets under way at 7:00pm.

    This year's convention will be one of the most spirited in recent memory as delegates will be meeting many of the candidates who will be running for office this election cycle. Several hundred attendees are expected.

    Registration begins at 5:30pm and will continue until 7:00pm. From 7:00pm until 9:30pm, attendees will hear from many of the candidates running for elected office this year- including Supreme Court Justice, Paul Newby, who is looking to fill the seat of Chief Justice on the North Carolina Supreme Court, current North Carolina State Treasurer, Dale Folwell and others.

    2020 is going to be a formidable year in politics and the battleground of Wake County, North Carolina will be at the heart of it.
