Raleigh, NC     Steve Forbes, Chairman and Editor-in-Chief of Forbes Media and two time Presidential candidate, today endorsed the campaign of Dan Forest, Republican candidate for North Carolina Lt. Governor.

In a recorded statement issued throughout the state, Forbes stated the following:

   "The challenges facing North
Steve Forbes
Carolina and our country are the same...fiscal irresponsibility, excessive regulations and high taxes. To turn things around we need to elect people to office who understand how to run a business and put people back to work. In the race for the Republican nomination for North Carolina Lt. Governor, I endorse Dan Forest.

As the former office president and Sr. Partner of the state's largest architectural firm, you can trust Dan Forest knows how high taxes and undue regulations can strangle a business. Dan Forest is a fiscal and social conservative who can get things done as only a businessman can do.

I'm Steve Forbes... on May 8th, you have a clear choice. Don't send another politician to Raleigh to do a businessman's job. Send Dan Forest."

Mr. Forbes will also headline a fundraising reception for the Dan Forest for Lt. Governor campaign this Sunday in Charlotte.
