The North Carolina Democrat Party is Seeking Delegates for the Democrat National Convention | Eastern North Carolina Now

   Publisher's note: This is not a misprint, this is real. In fact, it was sent to me today by the North Carolina Democrat Party, and as BCN is "fair and balance," we will publish all that is decent. Accordingly, as a matter of public service, I will publish this request as was the Democrat's intent, and as is my ongoing charge.

   I truly hope that the North Carolina Democrat Party elects enough delegates for the Charlotte convention.

   Do you want to be a delegate to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte?

   The deadline for submitting a Notice of Candidacy Form is tomorrow, Friday, April 27!

   In September, Democrats across the county will gather in Charlotte to re-nominate President Obama and Vice President Biden. We can’t wait to showcase North Carolina to our friends from across the Nation.

   If you want to become a National Delegate, view this slideshow and download the required Notice of Candidacy Form and please visit the DNC Delegate Selection page.

   Again, Notice of Candidacy Forms for those who wish to run at the district level must be received (not postmarked) by 5:00 PM on April 27, 2012. You can fax your Notice of Candidacy form to 919-821-4778.
