Oxymorphone/Marijuana Arrest in Chocowinity

Margie Roberson
    On 10/10/2019, The Beaufort County Sheriff's Office Drug Unit arrested Margie Lee Roberson, 58 years of age. Roberson was living at the Baymont Hotel in Chocowinity. Roberson was charged with Possession with Intent to Sell and Deliver Oxymorphone a Schedule II Controlled Substance with in 1000 feet of Chocowinity Middle School, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

    Roberson's arrest stemmed from Investigators executing a Search Warrant on Roberson's Hotel room after making purchases of Schedule II prescription pain pills from Roberson. Investigators found Schedule II prescription pain pills, marijuana and digital scales.

    Roberson was confined in the Beaufort County Detention Center under a $5000.00 secured bond.
