Iraq War Veteran Greg Gebhardt Announces Bid for Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina

    Iraq War Veteran and current North Carolina National Guard soldier, Major Greg Gebhardt announced his bid to become the next Lieutenant Governor of North Carolina. Greg is a proud conservative, husband, father, and leader who seeks to continue a lifetime of selfless service through public office.

    "From the day I raised my right hand and enlisted in the Army, to the oath I took as an officer upon graduation at West Point, to the oath sworn to serve in the North Carolina National Guard, I've dedicated my entire professional life to the service of our nation and this great state," stated Gebhardt. "I look forward to meeting with folks across the state in the coming months to share our story; the story of the American Dream that is alive and well. As Lieutenant Governor, I'll fight to make sure every North Carolinian is afforded the opportunity to live their American Dream."

    Greg is proudly married to his high school sweetheart of 20 years, Carrie, who serves as a nurse in Fayetteville. They are the blessed parents of three young daughters, Ellie, Lainey, and Evie Joy, and reside in Holly Springs.
