    Raleigh, NC     With more than 50% of the vote, Dr. Greg Murphy is now the Republican nominee for North Carolina's 3rd Congressional District. Dr. Murphy now faces off against Pelosi protege Democrat Allen Thomas in September.

    "Congratulations to Dr. Murphy!" said North Carolina Republican Party Chairman Michael Whatley. "Residents of the 3rd District deserve a Representative who will fight for their values in Washington and be accountable to their constituents, not special interests, and they'll get exactly that with Dr. Murphy. We look forward to deploying the full resources of the NCGOP in order to ensure that Dr. Murphy is victorious in September."

    Dr. Murphy has lived in Greenville, NC with his family for over 20 years. A graduate of Davidson College and UNC Chapel Hill Medical School, Dr. Murphy has exhibited his strengths as a job creator by running his own practice with over 50 employees. Dr. Murphy has earned a reputation as a servant in his church, Boy Scouts, and numerous local foundations. He's traveled the globe as a medical missionary and has been recognized for his selfless work in places like Haiti and India. As a state legislator, Dr. Murphy has championed conservative priorities, including fighting the opioid epidemic, healthcare reform, and protecting taxpayer dollars.
