Breaking and Entering Motor Vehicles

Press Release:

    The Washington Police Department is investigating several vehicle break-ins in the Smallwood community. On 5/24/19 at approximately 3:30am, suspects were seen breaking into vehicles in the Smallwood community. One suspect is a black male, approximately 6'02", 230-240 lbs., who was wearing a white tank top, long shorts, light colored sneakers, and a large tattoo on his left shoulder. The suspects are seen leaving in an unknown make and model vehicle.

    These B&E's are the result of unlocked motor vehicles. The Washington Police Department continues to express the importance of securing personal property and locking motor vehicles to assist in deterring criminal activity. If anyone can identify this individual or has information about these vehicle break-ins, they are encouraged to call the Washington Police Department at 252-946-1444.
