Today, Senator Tillis and his colleagues David Perdue, Doug Jones, Johnny Isakson and Rick Scott will hold a bipartisan press conference to highlight the critical need for Congress to pass disaster relief for states impacted by recent hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and other natural disasters.

    WASHINGTON, D.C.     Today, Senator Tillis and his colleagues David Perdue, Doug Jones, Johnny Isakson and Rick Scott will hold a bipartisan press conference to highlight the critical need for Congress to pass disaster relief for states impacted by recent hurricanes, wildfires, floods, and other natural disasters.

    The senators introduced a bipartisan disaster relief package with the backing of President Donald Trump on February 26, 2019 and continue to negotiate with their colleagues in good faith. Their disaster relief package would provide funding for recovery across the continental United States, as well as Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands.
