Here is another one of my last political / religious post for 2018

The New Democratic Party: Schizo-dissociative-anarchist

   Schizophrenia: a long-term mental disorder of a type involving a breakdown in the relation between thought, emotion, and behavior, leading to faulty perception, inappropriate actions and feelings, withdrawal from reality and personal relationships into fantasy and delusion, and a sense of mental fragmentation.

   Dissociative identity disorder:, formerly referred to as multiple personality disorder, is a condition wherein a person's identity is fragmented into two or more distinct personality states. People with this rare condition are often victims of severe abuse.

   Anarchist: a person who rebels against any authority, established order, or ruling power. 2 : a person who believes in, advocates, or promotes anarchism or anarchy; especially : one who uses violent means to overthrow the established order.

    For quite a while now, I have been concerned about my friend the Democrat.  I have known him (or is it she?) for most of my life. When I was young she (or is it he?) was a segregationist who was against people who don't look like each other going to school together.  I am told that before I was born he (or is it she?) was an anti-racist who fought to free the oppressed people of Jewish faith.

   Somewhere in my early years before I was ten, she (or is it he?) took a liking to the communist philosophy of ownership of all things shared by all members of a community; for common use. Long before I was old enough to understand the difference between public and private they (hey, maybe that is the proper term) took up the cause of Fidel Castro, and Che Guevara with power to the people.  Of course I guess they missed the little tidbit of the mass executions carried out by these two paragons of communal living. Don't even mention Mao Zedong, Lenin or Stalin.

   When I was a teenager he and she (don't ask about other genders, that was not on the radar yet) rebelled against the Democrat leaders who were waging a war against little yellow people in Vietnam.  I never understood why the protest subsided after a lottery system for the draft was instituted. I always suspected it was due to the lack of danger to the average draft age male (or is it draft-lottery-free-male). I almost started company selling hats so everyone could participate in the current craze of recognizing Veterans. I planned to make hats that said:

   That way everyone could be a part of the back slapping and celebration of being an American regardless of "race, color, religion, creed, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, ancestry, age, veteran status, disability unrelated to job requirements, genetic information, military service, or other protected status."   (Harvard University Policy

   Along the path of the average Democrat's maturing process  the rich came into disfavor.  Despite the fact that one of its most highly respected Presidents was extremely rich (JFK) they began to morph into the champions of the poor and downtrodden.  

   In the late 1960's I began to notice a change in the music away from lyrics and actual notes into a more noise oriented medium.  In the forefront of this movement were several prominent musicians who tried to defy the "survival of the fittest" theory.  Many did not. They will forever be enshrined as heroes to the cause of a drug crazed life.  That may be just as well, because as we all know, even the most popular celebrity will eventually run afoul of the changing times if they live long enough (Harvey Weinstein or Bill Cosby).

   Imagine my surprise when I found out the Party formerly known as the Democratic party suddenly woke up after 2016 and found out that the Communist, dare I say the Russians, are actually bad people after all.  There used to be a saying about 'what goes around comes around' but I must admit that the current Democratic party has exceeded even my own ability to run in circles. It is almost like a sailing ship with no rudder which exist on pure emotion devoid of any logical thought or sense of direction.

But then again, I can't say that the Republican party is much better.  They do however tend to stay on the same path over the years. You know the path that is full of former Democrats, racist, fascist, anti-communist, misogynists and homophobes. Apparently the only requirement to be a Republican is to not be a Democrat.

   I apologize for this tirade, but I fell asleep while watching a YouTube video and after it was over the next song on the playlist woke me up and reminded me of the America we currently live in.  The song never made much sense to me then and American seems to be heading in that same direction.

   I offer this a further proof that my Friend the Democratic Party is lost without a rudder.
