    Happy Valentine's Day!

    Love was definitely in the air this past weekend as we presented "Love on Broadway" to the community. The show was performed for more than 200 guests over the course of 3 shows. The show included singers ranging from those with extensive experience and talent to those just starting to find their voices.     AOP's School of the Arts for Kids $5 Fridays!

    Youth K-8th grade are invited to join in AOP's School of the Arts for Kids $5 Fridays from 3 - 5:30 PM at the Historic Turnage Theatre.

    Act, sing, dance and create on stage with AOP's Dylan Ritch, AOP's Children's Programming Director. Call 252-946-2504 for details or to reserve a spot.

    O Brother, Where Art Thou? & BCTMA Play Along

    FREE! AOP affiliate, BCTMA will be presenting this award winning movie Thursday, February 16th at the Historic Turnage Theatre beginning at 7 pm. The group will perform songs from the soundtrack live on the dance floor beneath the stage

    while the movie plays. Free, donations appreciated.

    Art Break for Kids - Registration Open, Space Limited

    Arts of the Pamlico will kick off its school holiday art break series in April. One week long arts extravaganza from April 17th - 21st at the Turnage Theatre

    from 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. Fees are $50 per child, include snacks (bring lunch). Children grades K-8 may participate in this day camp which will open at 8 AM - 5:30 PM. Participating children engage in a variety of hands-on art activities from painting to dancing to storytelling and movies on the big screen!

    Caroline Dare live at the Turnage Theatre!

    Local artist and rising Nashville darlin', Caroline Dare, will perform her first headline concert at the Historic Turnage Theatre on February 17th.     Frozen with Costumed Characters & Craft Activity Just $5!

    On February 18 join us for the movie Frozen and activities starting at 12:30 PM. The event includes a snowflake craft with the Natural Fibers Group, costumed characters provided by 3 Wishes & A Hero and the movie all for $5. Beverages and popcorn for sale before and during the event.

    Seriously Funny Business!

    The I.C. Comedy Improv Group returns to the gallery for our monthly dose of rib tickling improv comedy this Saturday evening. Tickets are $5, show begins at 8 pm. We will open our doors at 7 pm and have popcorn, wine & beer and beverages available for purchase prior to and during the show!

    Opera at the Turnage!

    AOP is proud to extend an invitation to our patrons to attend our first opera screening, "Carmen" on March 5th at 2 pm. The opera is written in the genre of opéra comique with musical numbers separated by dialogue. It is set in southern Spain and tells the story of the downfall of Don José, a naïve soldier

    who is seduced by the wiles of the fiery gypsy Carmen.

    The opera is being presented for free, with a suggested donation of $5.

    Snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Join us in our first presentation of Opera on the Big Screen.
