Happy Thanksgiving; as may God bless each of us, and our Republic | Eastern NC Now

At this moment in my life, and, in the life of our Republic, we have much to thankful for.

A prayer by the publisher - November 24, 2016:

At this moment in my life, and, in the life of our Republic, we have much to be thankful for.

It is my prayer that we all count our blessings, pledge to work out our respective differences as best we can, and try to our greatest endeavors to believe that America can once again be that 'shining city on a hill'.

To achieve that glimmering Reaganesque metaphor, it will not only take the right attitude of our nation's citizens, our success will demand hard work from our society, as a whole, to accomplish that perpetual shine upon our tarnished current state. To toil for a common cause is not only a blessing to our individual development, it is a community's purpose to render unto our Lord for His divine blessing, for He truly loves us, and cares for that which is best for each of his children, His servants in search for the ultimate Good.

Happy Thanksgiving to each of us, as we discover the good within our individual paths, as they fuse into one goal: The salvation of our Republic, and thus, by His good and glorious Hand, may God bless the United States of America, as well as our World community under His care.
