However, there is a change blowing upon the gentle American breeze - crony-less capitalism is awakening.
Maybe it is an American thing, the excess of too much success in the wrong hands of those that have not the talent to wield it, to make a difference. Maybe it is a co-dependent generational thing; that point where overly rewarded parents, with their taint of
deservedness upon their children's hollow hopes blend their failings in the weird realm of reality that celebrates a 'Cowardly New World', where the connected find and take largess, devoid of all principles; while the unconnected, those that stay on the losing end of a crony paradigm /rigged economy, diligently make their way, stick to struggle and build the life calluses from life's adversity. It is a tough approach to slug out an existence, but I hear, "it builds character."
And speaking of character, this has been a silly season of characters: Especially those running for the office of president, where both were from New York, although only one was a native, both immeasurably flawed, but only one had any message of real hope, and he was an inarticulate, politically inexperienced billionaire, Donald J. Trump, with plenty of personal baggage. The other candidate, L. Hillary Clinton, was impossibly flawed in that she was the only candidate in the history of our nation to run for president that was under FBI investigation for multiple felonies, and, now, only days after the presidential election that she lost decisively, still is.
Lost decisively; did not
the Democrat madame win the popular vote?
So far, Democrat L. Hillary has a slight lead in the popular vote; however, the all important Electoral College vote is projected to be 306 for Republican Trump to 232 for Democrat Clinton; a map of the counties won by Trump (red), and Clinton (blue) is below:

Furthermore, what we are learning from this election night map, which now has even more counties turned red, is that most of the sparser populated counties, where citizens are closer to the land: the tending of it, the management of it, and the paying for it, voted mostly for a Manhattan businessman /real estate developer /political outsider. This vast majority of America, and the Americans, who do most of the fighting and paying for the sustenance of America,
is why the Electoral College has existed for 234 years. It is a slight equalizer against the Elitist who would, and do control the needy rabble from the population centers, where much of the public Education Industry has disabused themselves of their hired purpose.
Continuing the character theme, or lack there of, and in light of the continual existence of this constitutional Electoral College, we might as well expect the concerted message of the what is currently branded as "Cupcake Nation" to be: (Even if Trump won 306 out of 538 electoral votes) Donald J. Trump
is not the legitimate president of the United States. Currently, Socialist and Democrat candidate Bernie Sanders is questioning the
legitimacy of the Electoral College as well as the legitimacy of Donald J. Trump.
What Socialist Sanders is unwisely doing is feeding into the hysteria of the evolving
"Cupcake Nation", many of whom were his ardent supporters in the Democrat primary. These
"Cupcakes", in all fairness, were raised in an environment by their misguided elitist wannabee parents, where their children were so special that they would be given trophies for just showing up. Is it any wonder that the hysterical whining over the sudden and unpredictable election of Donald J. Trump?
For decades now, America has devolved into a politically correct mess, where the elitists have manged this nation through their puppet politicians, and the
Democrat media just as if they were managing their spoiled brat children through the shallow manifestation, as symbol, of the participation trophy. I think it is fair to say that there is now an opportunity, a good fighting chance, that American will soon be run by patriots rather that the elitists that exist to serve themselves, their families and their elitist friends.
If this is not that time, we (patriots) shall endeavor to effect such, will strive to save this Republic, and will be there when there is success to sustain it, or continue the fight when it is lost.

The Electoral College voting process will not be changed in my lifetime, the "Cupcakes" lifetime, or their children's lifetimes.
To amend the Constitution to overhaul a popular Article is damn near impossible.
If you don't know how the U.S. Constitution works, like Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer, you probably should refrain from comment on this one.
Note to "Cupcake Nation": Some of us will laugh at you ... real hard.
So ... "Suck it up Buttercups"
