Bobby Tony introduces Poli-Block - prevent unwanted Political Spam | Eastern North Carolina Now

Google has its search feature that will find anything I want within seconds and then tell me how many instances if found for my search term. Facebook tells me I can like and share anything I find interesting. Larry Page, Sergey Brin, Mark Zuckerberg are billionaires simply because they introduced a simple piece of software.

Me, I am just sitting here wondering how I can create a piece of software that will allow me to automatically block (not spam) any post, email, article or mention of any subject that I am not interested in seeing. My own mental algorithm does this without thought or conscious effort. All I want to do is automate that task in my computer and smart phone. Maybe I could hook up some sort of brain wave monitor to my head and then download the algorithm. On second thought that would not be a wise thing to do. Hell, it might download some of the thoughts that I have that do not make it to BCN articles. THAT WOULD BE BAD, VERY BAD.

I tried to search Google, but all it showed me was how to block Facebook posts and that was not very complete. It only gave me 84+ Million options and I did not like any of them.

I know that you can unfollow friends on Facebook but that would mean I would miss the 2 interesting post out of 500 that my old girlfriend from 45 years ago post on a weekly basis. I know you are asking why I am FB friends with an old girlfriend from that long ago. Believe me, I need to know where she is at any given time. She carries a grudge about things that I only thought about. She also knows what part of the country I live in.

After careful evaluation of my dilemma, I realized that I am the fault for all this crap in the first place. After all, I willingly signed up for Facebook, Google +,Twitter, Gmail, Pinterest, Flicker, Etsy, Ebay, Apple Itunes, etc.

I once left the house without my smart phone. It was the most peaceful five minutes of my life until I went back in the house to get it. I guess I am stuck with the concept of TOO MUCH INFORMATION (TMI). Kinda of like this entire post which you just read. Stan requested that I stop posting so many political rants (wink, wink) so I thought I would resort to the clown persona.

I am now editing the code for this new software which will be available soon at the Bobby Tony Stamp, Meme and Software Store on line. Here is my Facebook page after the first trial run of my program. It seems to be eliminating all the political post.

I always thought that Reader's Digest was an oxymoron, but then again there was this fellow Cliff who helped me get through most of my college classes. I will put that Pete and Repeat on the development list for future 1.001 release. I need to get back to my acceptance article now.

A "FILTER REPEATED INFO" option would produce a Readers Digest.

For those who wondered Poli-Block does not work on BCN because information on this site is designed to advance factual thought rather than blind allegiance to uninformed opinion.
