'End Of Discussion' authors Benson, Ham share concerns with JLF audience


    RALEIGH — The political left is relying more and more on manufactured outrage to shut down debate on a range of political topics. That's the warning delivered in the book End Of Discussion, and it's the message the book's authors shared Monday with a John Locke Foundation audience.

    Fox News contributors Guy Benson and Mary Katharine Ham explained during a Headliner luncheon how ever-evolving standards about subjects fit for discussion tend to marginalize the political right and protect the left from being forced to engage in debate about ideas.
