    Mr. James David Wiggins, Sr., age 65, a resident of West Fifth Street, Washington, died Monday, February 23, 2015 at his home.

    A private graveside service will be held at a later date.

    Mr. Wiggins was born in Beaufort County on August 8, 1949. He was the son of the late Toler Wiggins and Clara Clark Wiggins. Mr. Wiggins worked in Industrial Construction as a pipe welder. He attended Haw Branch Christian Church as a child. Mr. Wiggins enjoyed wood working in his spare time. He was a good father and was known as a good welder.

    Mr. Wiggins is survived by his children, Jennifer Wiggins Tetterton and husband, Carlous Tetterton of Washington, James David Wiggins, Jr. and wife, Mindy Wiggins of Kansas City, Mo., Christie Elks and husband, Billy Elks, Jr. of Washington, Melisa Dixon and husband, Mike Dixon of Washington, Tammy Coins and husband, James Coins of Pilot Mountain, N.C.; a brother, Philip Wiggins and wife, Joyce of Blounts Creek; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
