    (ROCKY MOUNT, N.C.,     September 26, 2014) – The Golden LEAF Foundation, which assists tobacco-dependent, economically distressed and rural communities across North Carolina, will hold a meeting of its Board of Directors on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at the East Carolina University Health Sciences Campus in the Laupus Library in Greenville, N.C.

    Several committee meetings will be held in conjunction with the Board meeting. Committee meetings on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 will be held at the East Carolina University Health Sciences Campus in the ECU Physicians Heart Institute on the 4th floor in the Robotics Conference Room located at 115 Heart Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.

    The following meetings will meet on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 starting at 11 a.m.:

   •  Electronic Board Book Training
   •  Investment Committee
   •  Programs Committee

    Meetings on Thursday, October 2, 2014 will be held at the East Carolina University Health Sciences Campus in the ECU Laupus Library on the 1st floor in Conference Room 1504 located at 500 Health Science Drive, Greenville, NC 27834.

    The following committees will meet on Thursday, October 2, 2014 starting at 8:30 a.m.:

   •  Programs Committee (reconvened)
   •  Audit Committee
   •  Finance Committee
   •  Personnel/ Nominations Committee

    The Board of Directors meeting immediately follows the adjournment of the last committee meeting on Thursday, October 2, 2014.
