About

I am a California native, but found my home to be in Eastern North Carolina when I moved here with my parents while I was in the second grade. Currently am attending college in pursuit of a degree and career in Architecture. I graduated in the top percentages of my 2009 class as well as being a member of the National Honor Society at Washington High School. My parents and two older brothers have always been hard workers, and I'm continuing along that chain... I enjoy living in Beaufort County; the Washington area has that nice "hometown" feeling. My boyfriend and I hope to stay close to home after graduating from college, get our careers established, and start a family of our own.

Another wildfire sparked by lightening, on June 19, 2011, has affected North Carolina. The wildfire in Pender County's Holly Shelter Gamelands, Juniper Road and County Line Road, and 8 miles North of Topsail is continuing to burn out of control.
