Doug Rufino is originally from New Jersey where he spent most of his life as a microbiologist. A job offer at DSM Pharmaceuticals in Greenville brought he and his family to North Carolina. After a year or two of trying to adjust, he happily calls North Carolina his home. He is currently a Senior Director of Corporate Quality for Patheon, Inc, a contract pharmaceuticals manufacturer based out of Raleigh. He has been in pharmaceuticals now for 26 years.
Doug is married with 4 children, several pets, and too many Wii games.
