Contributors still flocking to Artistic Rebuttal Book Project

Artist and arts advocate Amy Scheidegger continues to enjoy overwhelming support for her Artistic Rebuttal Book Project. As of Thursday, Scheidegger reported that 229 people have confirmed to contribute from 53 cities across America and Canada. She plans to present an abridged version of the book to her representatives at National Arts Advocacy day in April. The finished product of the Artistic Rebuttal Book Project will be marketed to galleries, arts councils, tourist departments and libraries across the country. Scheidegger will also now be collaborating with teachers and students across the country on a children's edition of the project.
Dozens of art appreciators have already submitted their artistic statements for entry into the book. Beaufort County Now published the first batch on Feb. 8, which can be viewed by clicking here; the second batch on Feb. 13, which can be viewed by clicking here; the third batch on Feb. 16, which can be viewed by clicking here; and the fourth batch on Feb. 19, which can be viewed by clicking here. The fifth batch of entries is posted, below.
