BCCC to offer month-long knitting class


    The Division of Continuing Education at Beaufort County Community College will offer a class in knitting 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays beginning Jan. 18 and ending Feb. 22 in Room 830 of Building 8 on the BCCC campus.

    In this class, students will learn everything they need to know to be able to complete a simple project. The basic stitches involved in knitting - knit and purl - will be taught including techniques such as casing on, ending a project, casting off and increasing and decreasing stitches. After taking this class, student should be able to knit other simple projects on their own. The registration fee is $35. The instructor is Elaine Roberson.

Please note that BCCC will be closed from December 21 through January 1.
