Beaufort County to Discuss its Options
The Beaufort County Board of County Commissioners will meet with their attorney, Neil Yarborough, to discuss the hopeful conclusion of the nearly 4 year endeavor of the Beaufort County Board of Education to sue the Beaufort County Taxpayers.
On Friday, October 9, 2009, the North Carolina Supreme Court rejected the Beaufort County Board of Educations request that they review the successful appeal of Beaufort County that would ask for a qualification of how much the Beaufort County Taxpayers are constitutionally mandated by the State of North Carolina to pay for the wise education of its public school students.
