Washington High School hosted the Pam Pack Math Competition | Eastern North Carolina Now

    On Saturday February 25th Washington High School hosted the Pam Pack Math Competition. The purpose of the competition was to provide students from Elementary, Middle, and High School an opportunity to challenge each other in their respective divisions. Over 150 students from Pitt, Craven, Carteret, and Beaufort Counties representing nine schools participated in both team and individual challenges in six different divisions.

    Joshua Crozier 1st place individual
    Sarah Jennings 2nd place individual
    Neeti Mehta 3rd place individual
    Joshua Crozier 1st place overall
    Ryan Cowell 2nd place overall

    In Algebra 2

    Willie Smith 1st place individual
    Stephanie McMahon 3rd place individual
    Willie Smith 3rd place overall

    In Geometry

    Taku Shinoharu 1st place individual
    Joanna Espinoza 2nd place individual
    Carla Brown 3rd place individual

WASHINGTON, NC— Beaufort County Community College has eight-week, online "Late-Start" courses starting March 6.
