   Publisher's note: Our friends at Civitas have conducted this political leaning poll, with some very interesting results.

   We are now engaged in the political "silly season," and now is probably a good time to know how our fellow North Carolina citizens feel on the issues important to them. At some point many of them will become involved in the democratic process, where the truest poll in the May 8th primary and the November 6th general election will make the greatest difference.
